Kids don’t just get sick during office hours. That’s why Mountain Kids is proud to partner with Montana Pediatrics, a trusted network of pediatric providers available evenings, nights, and weekends — so your family always has access to care.

  • Visit the Montana Pediatrics portal
  • Follow the steps to add your child
  • Be sure to list Dr. Hastings as your child's PCP so our office gets the visit notes and can follow up if needed



request a visit

  • Log into your account anytime your child needs after-hours care
  • Click "Request a Visit" next to their name
  • Complete the telehealth consent forms, answer a few questions about your concerns, and ensure your device's camera and microphone are working
  • You'll be connected with a Montana-based pediatric provider (sometimes even Dr. Hastings!) – most families will wait less than 5 minutes.

If your child is experiencing a true medical emergency, call 911. Otherwise, most non-emergent needs can be resolved with an after-hours visit. Common concerns include fevers, sore throats, stomach aches, rashes, RSV, COVID, Influenza, Hand Foot and Mouth, ear infections, Conjunctivitis, sinus infections, skin conditions, and more.

Montana Pediatrics provides families like yours with access to Montana-based pediatric providers through easy to use video-based visits. A Montana Pediatrics after-hours visit serves a pediatric-specific alternative to urgent care and supports you whenever our office is closed.
Dr. Hastings participates in Montana Pediatrics! That means you can access him on the evenings and weekends when he in on call. When Dr. Hastings isn’t on call, a Montana-based pediatric provider he trusts will be there to help your child feel better and put you at ease. how much does a visit cost?

If you choose to use insurance for your visit, Montana Pediatrics will bill it first, then your amount due will depend on your individual policy. If you choose not to use insurance, an uncomplicated visit is usually around $75. We all believe you should never hesitate to seek care due to concerns about cost.
